Application of linear displacement sensor in closed loop control system of control valve
At present, the displacement sensors commonly used in valve spool position detection include potentiometer principle, linear displacement sensor and LVDT displacement sensor. LVDT displacement sensor has high precision and strong anti-interference ability. It is also widely used in control valve system, but it is not suitable for high-speed dynamic measurement due to its large size, high cost and low frequency response. Potentiometer principle linear displacement sensor has high precision, good stability and low cost. It can be designed with small size to meet the requirements of high precision and low cost of control valve closed-loop control system.
In the process control system, the valve position can determine the distribution and control of flowing gas and liquid, thus affecting the process parameters such as fluid flow, temperature, pressure and liquid level. The position of the valve needs real-time feedback to the closed-loop control system to realize automatic control and regulation. Traditional pneumatic or hydraulic valves use cam, lever or balance beam to measure displacement. This kind of structure design has poor control effect, unstable signal feedback, and is easy to be affected by corrosion, vibration, blockage, bonding, etc., and the market space is becoming smaller and smaller. The closed-loop control system with displacement sensor as the basic measuring unit can work efficiently for a long time without pollution and mechanical damage. It is widely used in the position detection of control valve spool, which greatly improves the efficiency, safety and automation level of the process control system.
The linear displacement sensor is used in the closed-loop control system of control valve. The sensor measures the displacement change of valve core and converts it into proportional electrical signal, which is fed back to the control system. After PID and amplification, the signal is transmitted to the transmission mechanism to push the valve core to move and automatically adjust the fluid flow and pressure. Potentiometer principle linear displacement sensor has higher precision and stability, its mass production mode and lower manufacturing cost are more suitable for the product design and market positioning of control valve.
