Important instructions on installation and use of DHL waterproof displacement sensor
First of all, thank you for your trust and support! According to the recent feedback information, users often have the following problems in the installation and use of DHL waterproof pull rod linear displacement sensor, which affect the performance and service life of the sensor.
1. DHL waterproof displacement sensor has good dust and water-proof performance. It can work normally in humid, dust or underwater environment for a long time. However, the terminals of sensor shield wire should be far away from water and oil environment. According to the analysis of displacement sensor repaired by customers back to the factory, water, oil and other fluids can be transported to the sensor through shielded cable by siphon effect, which will cause corrosion of sensor welding points, accelerate wear of carbon film plate or short circuit of circuit, and affect the normal use of the sensor. We suggest: when purchasing sensors, appropriate length of shielding cable should be reserved according to the site conditions. The terminal of shielded wire should be far away from water and oil environment. If necessary, corresponding waterproof treatment should be carried out. If the cable of the sensor is insufficient, the shielding wire of the same specification can be selected for welding and lengthening. The welding point shall be effectively isolated by heat shrinkable sleeve. Attention shall be paid to avoid the hot water and oil spray area as far as possible, so as to prevent the fluid from invading the sensor through the shielded cable.
2. The front end of DHL waterproof displacement sensor adopts dust seal and oil seal multi-stage seal. In order to ensure good waterproof performance, the sensor should be installed and fixed to a certain degree of neutrality, otherwise the internal sealing components will be gradually worn, and the ideal waterproof effect can not be achieved.
3. Potentiometer principle linear displacement sensor is a low-voltage measuring component. The supply voltage of the sensor should not be too high, otherwise the sensor may be damaged. According to the feedback information from the scene, some users have the hidden danger that the circuit design is not reasonable and the low-voltage line can not be effectively isolated from the high-voltage line, which will not only seriously affect the measurement accuracy and service life of the displacement sensor, but also have great potential accidents. In the design and field assembly layout, users should try to be scientific and reasonable to prevent the sensor from burning out due to short circuit and other reasons.
